Lark & Lens is built around a simple idea: Your photos should feel like you.
I create honest, cinematic images with a relaxed approach; less rigid poses, more real connection, movement, personality, and the little in-between moments that define who we really are.
Based in Cedar Rapids, I photograph seniors, couples, families, and anyone looking for something a little more personal than traditional portrait photography. The goal is not perfection. It's creating images that feel natural, atmospheric, and worth holding onto.
About Me
Hi there! My name is Ryan Brown, owner of Lark & Lens Photography.
I am an Iowa native, born in the 1900's. I've been here in Cedar Rapids since 2000.
Creative pursuits have always been a passion of mine, since I got my first guitar at 15 years old.
I've been taking pictures for about 8 years now.
When I am not working, I am making music with my solo project IAMTHEVILLAIN or spending time with my family.
